Marco Heitz - Master of Yachts Unlimited
Marco is a traveller, adventurer, sailor, motorcyclist, and former demolition diver in the Finnish navy.
Marco has sailed since his early childhood, won several podium finishes in both keelboat and dinghy races, single-handedly and fully crewed. He is an Advanced Cruising and Navigation instructor for Sail Canada and sailed his own 40-foot sloop from the Great Lakes to South America and back over three years. Marco received a Yacht Master certification in 2003, Commercial 200 gross ton Ocean Master in 2006 and Master of Yachts Unlimited 500gt in 2012.
Marco is a Certified Electronics Engineering Technician and worked thirteen years in computer technical services. He then went to form a Project Management and Consulting business focussing in large technical and IT projects. Currently, he applies his technical experience in assisting yachts with installation and troubleshooting marine electronics and electrical systems.
